Any woman is eligible for membership who is no less than eighteen years of age and can prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. A complete list of eligibility information is available on the NSDAR "Become A Member" web page.

Email UsThe DAR Genealogical Research System (GRS) on the DAR web site is a new and outstanding resource. The GRS is a combination of several extensive genealogical databases and contains names of American Revolutionary Patriots, both men and women, whose service (between 1775 and 1783) has been established by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Additional information available may include: dates and places of birth and death, name(s) of wife (wives) or husband(s) and children, rank, type of service, and the state where the patriot lived or served.
